We’ve found yet another reason as to why beards are epic: you can make cool stop-motion videos with them…
The photographer Ben Garvin thought it was time to shave his majestic, manly beard, but he decided to have a little fun first with a stop-motion app for the iPhone.
It’s a pretty cool video (but an even cooler beard) and it just goes to show that with a little time, effort and video editing skills you can hide a whole cucumber in your face-fro.
Here’s a look at what Ben had to say on YouTube: “I knew this video was a hit when I showed it to my 7-year-old son for the first time. He laughed so hard a small puddle appeared at his feet afterwards--a high bar!
“I built this stop motion video over time--lots of time--with an iPhone app called Stop Motion Studio (there are similar apps for Android). I edited it further in Adobe Premiere Pro on my PC by syncing it to music.”
