If you’ve ever had a rodent infestation in your house, or known someone with one, you’ll know they can be devilishly tricky little blighters to eradicate.
Just look at how easily they can make their way up your toilet…

Just last year, residents in Cork were warned “to keep their toilet seats down and to watch their posteriors” after an elderly man was hospitalised when a rat bit him on the bum while he was sitting on the toilet.
So it’s only natural to be wary of the buggers and to want them out of your home.
Step forward Jody Mackin, and friends, who used a highly scientific method of mops and sweeping brushes to get the little fella out of their house…
