This is the trio stepping into Hector’s shoes…
Almost as soon as the news that Hector Ó hEochagáin was leaving the breakfast slot on 2FM was announced, the rumour mill suggested that Republic of telly duo Bernard O’Shea and Jennifer Maguire were set to replace him.
So it is with no real surprise that today 2FM officially announced the pair, plus Keith Walsh of ‘Joe and Keith’ fame, as the new hosts today.

It is a tricky slot to do well in, with Ian Dempsey the undisputed master of the art for years now in Ireland. Taking him on will be the big challenge for the new trio.
