‘Boyhood’ director tells us how to use a straw as a deadly weapon

You probably don’t want to talk or send a text message if you’re at the cinema with Richard Linklater.

The director of ‘Boyhood’ shares JOE’s complete contempt for anyone who disturbs us at the cinema – why do they go in the first place? – and he is prepared to kill to stop people from yapping during a movie.

Some might think it a bit harsh, but we applaud Linklater’s no-n0nsense approach to cinema-going.
