JOE brings you the latest trailers in association with the good folk over at Magnet.
Check out the new trailer for The Colony, a new sci-fi horror film that looks like it’s something along the lines of 28 Days Later meets Alive meets the animalistic Reavers (from the excellent TV series Firefly).
The Colony tells the story of a futuristic Earth plunged into an apocalyptic Ice Age, an event that has terrible consequences for the few surviving humans who are now forced to live in creepy underground bunkers.
Laurence Fishburne is the star of the show as he leads the survivors of Colony 7 on a rescue mission after they receive a strange distress signal coming from the supposedly abandoned Colony 5.
They probably wish they’d steered well clear though as what they find there is something more horrifying altogether.
Ooooooooooooooooooh.
The film also stars Bill Paxton who’ll hopefully be able to give it a bit of the ol’ “Game over man! Game over!” from Aliens.
The film is scheduled for release later this year but, in the meantime, check out the trailer below. As Fishburne says, “The hunger drove them mad. There’s nothing human left.”
Sounds like first year Uni all over again.
