On February 10 Ryan Reynolds returns to the big screen to play the character he was born to play… no, not The Green Lantern, Deadpool.
For those of you not familiar with Deadpool, let us share a few things.
Deadpool WAS Wade Wilson
Wilson had terminal cancer and was offered a miracle cure, which didn’t really work out… but he did get some pretty slick powers which he has since put to good use.
Deadpool has actually referenced Ryan Reynolds in his comic
We told you he was born to play him.

The fourth wall… what fourth wall?
Deadpool is fully aware that he is a work of fiction and he doesn’t give a sh*t.
He loves a good chat with the audience and is the only superhero who will insult those in the cinema half way through the film.
Just like Reynolds, Deadpool is a proud Canadian
By this logic he should be the politest mercenary to ever wield a weapon, but stereotypes aren’t always true… anyone else in the mood for a potato? Just us?

Reynolds has already played him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine
In X-Men Origins *spoiler alert* Deadpool, or ‘The Merc with a Mouth’ as he is also known, has his gob sewn shut.
It is not clear if the same studio wants to create another X-Men Origins film where Cyclops appears without eyes or a David Beckham biopic where Golden Balls appears without his pair of… legs.

Expect way more gore than you see in normal superhero movies
You know those superheros who don’t believe in killing their enemy? Deadpool definitely isn’t one of those.
And a few more expletives too
You probably shouldn’t bring your granny to see this. Unless she is a really, really cool granny.
Deadpool hits cinemas on February 10 and you should go see it.
