Dublin Oldschool

“Would you like a can, a smoke, and a yoke? Let’s be friends forever.”

Dublin Oldschool, one of the highest grossing Irish films of 2018, is coming to Netflix this week.

Starring a talented cast in Emmet Kirwan, Sarah Greene, Ian Llyod Anderson, Seana Kerslake, Liam Heslin, Mark O’Halloran, the movie was well-received by the many Irish folk who went to see it.

And if you did miss out on seeing it in the cinema, you only have a matter of days to wait, because it’s coming to Netflix on Saturday, 1 June.

Based on the hugely successfully play, which was also written and performed by Emmet Kirwan, Dublin Oldschool tells the story of Jason (Kirwan), a wannabe DJ, on a drug-fuelled trip through the streets of Dublin as he stumbles from one session to another.

We don’t think we’re exaggerating when we say it might be the best Irish movie of last year.
