Dustin, you’ve been holding out on us.
Stranger Things took Netflix by storm upon its release last month, and one of everyone’s favourite characters was loveable geek Dustin.
Dustin is played by Gaten Matarazzo, and his acting credentials are a lot heavier than you might expect. Matarazzo has already played Gavroche in Les Miserables on Broadway – which is pretty much the biggest stage acting gig that kid can wrangle for himself.
Of course, starring in such a big musical must mean than Matarazzo can sing a little bit, right? Oh, he can sing a little bit.
Here’s a video from two years ago of Matarazzo singing Bring Him Home from Les Mis in a performance that would give Colm Wilkinson a run for his money.
There’s also a video on YouTube of a 10-year-old Gaten singing Bruno Mars and sounding the way we all think we sound after a couple of pints.
