If you love The Boss and missed it previously, now’s your chance.

With news that Bruce Springsteen plans on heading back on the road with the E Street Band very soon, the last few weeks have been heaven for fans of The Boss but you don’t have to wait too long to see the rock ‘n roll icon.

In recent weeks, Bruce has been pouring out his hungry heart on chatshows around the world as he promotes his directorial debut, Western Stars, which he made alongside his longterm collaborator, Thom Zimny.

Well, much like tickets to one of his gigs whenever they become available, film fans snapped up the chance to see the concert film/documentary during its limited release last week.

Thankfully, Warner Brothers have announced that Western Stars will be screening in Irish cinemas nationwide from this Friday.

We loved the intimate nature of the film – you can read our review here – and during a recent chat with JOE, co-director Thom Zimny elaborated on why Springsteen has a “really profound connection with Irish culture.”

Aside from this, Zimny also discussed his working partnership with Springtseen and why The Seeger Sessions album – recorded in Dublin – will always have a special place in his heart.

Check your local listings for tickets.
