The next James Bond film will start filming in October, actor Ralph Fiennes has revealed.

The 51-year-old is expected to return to play M, the head of Secret Intelligence Service MI6 opposite Daniel Craig’s Bond.

“It’s meant to start shooting in October,” Ralph told MTV News.

Unfortunately, that all Fiennes was able to reveal about the follow-up to the well received Skyfall,

“I haven’t read a script yet, so I can’t tell you much,” Ralph said.

“They’d probably swear me to secrecy anyway.”

Craig will play 007 for the fourth time in the 24th Bond film, while Sam Mendes revealed last year that he will be back in the director’s chair.

“I am very pleased that by giving me the time I need to honour all my theatre commitments, the producers have made it possible for me to direct Bond 24,” Mendes said.

“I very much look forward to taking up the reins again, and to working with Daniel Craig, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for a second time.”

The film is expected to hit cinemas in November 2015.
