Don’t miss this one.

This year’s Academy Awards bash brought much in the way of entertainment, if you’re into that sort of thing.

You had big winners, including major gongs for Bohemian Rhapsody and Green Book, much to the chagrin of critics and film editors the world over.

You had Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper enter in a performance of ‘Shallow’ so intimate that everyone decided that they were definitely having an affair, a notion that Gaga later rubbished.

And you had Donald Trump blast Spike Lee in his usual sensitive way.

Still, there can be little argument with the winner of Best Documentary Feature; the captivating Free Solo.

The story of professional climber Alex Honnold, Free Solo presents the American’s daring attempt to perform a free solo climb of the El Capitan rock formation in the summer of 2017.

No mean feat, nor was the attempt to capture up close and personal footage of Honnold as he engaged in the climb of his life.

A critical and commercial hit, Free Solo is a must-watch for documentary and nature fans alike, and the good news is that it will air tonight – Wednesday 29 May – on 4 Seven at 11.05pm.
