Game on.
Look, it's no shock that we are impatiently counting down the days until Game of Thrones returns to our screens.
There has been
all kinds of speculation and reports on what's to come, both with the final season and various proposed spin-offs.
The hype machine is well and truly in overdrive as we await the arrival of the last ever -
and feature-length, don't forget - episodes.
And so we welcome the official teaser trailer of season eight with feverish excitement, only... well, they're playing rather hard to get here, to be honest.
Ice meets fire in a suitably ominous glimpse of what to expect from a story that
probably isn't going to end happily every after for, well, anyone.
As noted, there's not a ton to decipher here but if you think that hasn't stopped fans on social media and various subreddits from weaving their own theories together Pepe Silvia style, well, you've really not been paying attention.
