Game of Thrones: Things between Sansa, Jon and Littlefinger could get very interesting

Interesting times for House Stark.

The cast of Game of Thrones were in attendance at Comic-Con and we're fairly certain that The Mountain was patrolling the side of the stage in a bid to stop spoilers from leaking out. For the 17,427th time, consider this to be your spoiler alert. The wonderful double-bill of 'Battle of the Bastards' and 'Winds of Winter' was the closest thing that Game of Thrones fans have got to a happy ending because as we all know, history hasn't been kind to House Stark. Despite the fact that Winterfell has now been reclaimed by Sansa and Jon, the last episode ended on something of an ambiguous note because it's clear that there's tension between Sansa and the newly proclaimed King in the North. Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) and Sansa (Sophie Turner)  have previously been vocal about this apparent fracture in House Stark and Turner added even more weight to this theory during the recent Game of Thrones panel at Comic-Con. “There’s always a bit of sibling rivalry between Sansa and Jon; there has been since they were very young. I think that look between Sansa and Littlefinger is her kind of acknowledging that his points are somewhat legitimate, and she’s kind of intrigued as to that pretty little picture that he painted of him on the Iron Throne and her by his side" she says. Turner continued, “She’s kind of thinking, ‘Well, he’ll give me the credit that I deserve. But it’s very interesting to see where her loyalties will now lie — whether she’ll go with Jon or Littlefinger.I think she believed it was probably more of a joint effort in terms of the Battle of the Bastards, she thinks they should be King and Queen of the North, I’m not so sure she’s so keen on the Iron Throne anymore. I’m not sure she thinks Jon is capable of running Winterfell and the North… She doesn’t think he has the intellect, the knowledge and the experience that she has, and I concur.” Don't worry Game of Thrones fans, it's not all bad news though because director Miguel Sapochnik, who was behind the lens for the epic 'Battle of the Bastards' and 'Winds of Winter' episodes , says that he'd love to return to direct some episodes in Season 8.
