Beware, this article is dark and full of spoilers if you’re not up to date with Season Five of Game of Thrones…
If you cried like a baby at the last episode of Game of Thrones when Jon Snow became an improvised knife holder, you better get your tissues again.
Many have been debating that the Lord Commander of the Nights Watch isn’t actually dead but HBO’s top programming executive has come out to clear up that rumour.
“Dead is dead as dead as dead,” HBO’s programming president, Michael Lombardo, said during the Television Critics Association press tour this week.
As if three ‘dead’ wasn’t enough, Lombardo came back to reinforce his point, “He be dead. Yes. From everything I’ve seen, heard, read, Jon Snow is indeed dead.”
That’s settled then, we can go and mourn the loss of our favourite character in peace, at least we still have Emilia Clarke look forward to, for now at least…
