We can tell that this video was difficult to make, because the guy who made it so very clearly LOVED the show, so to make this video about the fantastic rise and heartbreaking fall of The Simpsons really feels like it struck a nerve.
As well it should, because The Simpsons was - and still is, for anyone lucky to catch a repeat of the show at its prime - fantastically funny and beyond compare.
We've talked before about the rise and fall of the show, with this guy who graphed out exactly when it stopped being great, then stopped being good, then stopped being even average, or this twitter poll which argued over the greatest episode of all time.
If there was ever a show people would love to see make a comeback, it is The Simpsons, which is an odd thing to say about a show that is still on the air.
Irish man John Walsh - or you may know him by his more well-known online alter-ego Super Eyepatch Wolf - has previously gone in deep on everything from What Makes A Great Villain to the Obvious Brilliance Of Silent Hill 2 (the video-game, not that terrible movie), and here he has set his sights on how and why The Simpsons went sour.
So if you can give over about the same amount of time you might spend watching an episode of the show itself, we seriously recommend you check out this video, as it is a must-watch for anyone who has ever considered themselves a fan of The Simpsons.
