Irish star Barry Keoghan joins cast of US TV show
This man's career is going from strength to strength.
From his Love/Hate begins to his major role in the Academy Award-nominated Dunkirk, Barry Keoghan is well on his way towards superstardom.
It has now been announced that Keoghan has been cast in FX TV series Y: The Last Man. FX announced two months ago that they would be putting together a pilot for a television adaptation of the graphic novel.
It looks like they're investing heavily in the project, as Keoghan is joined Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later) and the Oscar-nominated Diane Lane (Batman vs Superman, Justice League).
According to Hollywood Reporter, "Keoghan will take on the lead role of Yorick, a young man who is quick to use humor to deflect from his problems who may be the lone male survivor of a worldwide plague."
No date has been set yet for when the pilot will air.
