A permanent reminder of Matthew Perry’s talent
Over the weekend, American channel 9News have been reporting that “There could be a late honour for the man who made the role of Chandler Bing so well-known and loved – a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.”
According to TMZ, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce have said they are keen to honour Perry with a star and posthumous ceremony.
However, in Perry’s absence, the final decision is up to his family to decide if and when that would happen. A family member would have to accept the star on his behalf.
Matthew Perry’s Friends co-stars Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston already have stars on the Walk of Fame at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
TMZ are reporting that the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce want to put Matthew’s potential star in the same area.
