Movies on TV - Nobody

A lot of action on tonight.

There’s nothing better than settling in after a long day at work and finding some great movies on TV to watch.

This evening, there’s options aplenty for you to choose, but we’re going to make it real easy for you with our pick of the bunch – Nobody.

The 2021 action thriller stars Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) as an unassuming family man who, after his house is burgled, slowly reveals his true, violent nature.

The best way to describe Nobody is basically labelling it John Wick, but for suburban dads and honestly, that’s all you need to know going into it.

Nobody is pure unadulterated action, specifically geared towards those that aren’t there for the story and just want to see limbs flying.

With a 94% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s clear to see that viewers absolutely adore this film, with particular praise going towards Odenkirk, who massively switches gear from his role as a shlocky, scumbag lawyer to a badass action hero in the blink of an eye.

Respected critic Mark Kermode said it best when he described Nobody as “just really entertaining, A-list B-movie exploitation trash done really well. I watched the whole film with a grin on my face.”

You can do just that if you tune in to Film Four at 9pm tonight.

If Nobody isn’t your thing, check out these other movies on TV tonight.

Table 19 – Film Four – 7.20pm
2017 comedy directed by the Duplass brothers, with an incredible cast including Anna Kendrick, Craig Robinson, Lisa Kudrow, Stephen Merchant and Wyatt Russell. Makes it all the harder to understand why it only has 26% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hulk – ITV4 – 8pm
Eric Bana stars as Bruce Banner in this 2003 pre-MCU flick about a man who, after being exposed to radiation, turns into a big, angry, green fella whenever he stubs his toe.

Fight Club – Film Four – 10.50pm
The film that spawned the personality base of a million teenage boys.

Hit the Road – Channel 4 – 2am
If you’re up super late on a school night, you can tune into this Iranian road trip comedy from 2021 which has a whopping 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. As the highest rated of the movies on TV tonight, it might just be worth staying up for.
