It’s your day off!

The sun is shining, so there are plenty of reasons to relax outside during the day, but once the sun goes down you’ll probably want something to watch.

And seeing as how you’re back in work tomorrow, you don’t want anything that’s going to provoke too much existential dread or anxiety.

Thankfully, Netflix today added one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s strongest and most cheerful films to their roster, which will make for perfect Bank Holiday Monday viewing.

Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first MCU film to focus on Spider-Man, came out in 2017 and sparked pure adoration for Tom Holland — the third Peter Parker since the turn of the millennium, surpassing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Indeed, across Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man’s moments on-screen often packed the most humour, tension and emotional resonance.

Homecoming also features Michael Keaton at his absolute best, absolutely nailing his sinister villain role as Vulture. Of course, Robert Downey Junior also turns up as the show-stealing Tony Stark.

The sequel to Homecoming, titled Far From Home, is coming later this summer, so now is the perfect time to reacquaint yourself with your friendly neighbourhood web-slinger.
