See the new extended trailer for Warm Bodies – the zombie movie that takes vampire movie Twilight and makes it funny and watchable.

So you may have heard of Twilight (yes the saddo vampire love story). Well, Summit Entertainment has a zombie version out. Only this movie is self-aware – it knows it is recycling the story of a dead guy falling for a live girl, but makes it interesting this time with a few tweaks.
For one, the zombie, R (Nicholas Hoult), has an internal monologue. He, like other teenagers, just wants to fit in. However, he is dead.
When he meets Julie (Teresa Palmer), he falls for her as expected after eating her boyfriend’s brains. However, his love for her starts to ‘infect’ him with humanity and this spreads to the other zombies too.
Instead of going all serious like the vampire movies, Warm Bodies is funny and takes the p*ss out of itself.
Warm Bodies is based on author Isaac Marion’s debut novel of the same name.
Set for release on February 8, 2013, Warm Bodies also stars John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich) and Dave Franco (21 Jump Street).
