If Parks & Rec reunion is to take place, one circumstance will have to be met

Parks and Rec reunion

We wouldn’t want it any other way, to be honest.

Some shows should just never make any sort of comeback once they’re finished. They ended perfectly, seeing any more of it would just be overkill.

That’s the exact reason why Marta Kauffman, the creator of Friends, says that we have definitely seen the last episode of the classic sitcom.

But there are some that we wouldn’t mind seeing back on our screens.

Parks & Rec is one of those shows.

Now, we’re well aware that the last episode is brilliant, but it just feels like one of those shows that we would be really happy to see more of.

Speaking at the 10th anniversary reunion PaleyFest panel on Thursday night — Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Adam Scott, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Jim O’Heir and Rob Lowe — all agreed that there was a good enough idea to make it happen.

But if a Parks & Rec reunion is to take place, then one thing will have to be the case – everyone will need to be involved.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Creator Mike Schur said: “Everyone on this stage — and like six other people — would have to feel like there was a story that needed to be told,” Schur said on the panel.

To be honest, that sounds like a good thing to us. It just wouldn’t be the same without the whole gang in attendance.

In the past, Amy Poehler has said that if a reunion does ever happen, then her legendary character of Leslie Knope can play “president of the moon”.
