Amy Poehler has teased a Parks & Rec reunion in classic Leslie Knope fashion

Parks and Rec

Don’t play with our emotions like this, Poehler.

Parks & Recreations has been severely missed since it left our television screens.

What makes it even worse is the fact that the show is on American Netflix. Why the hell can’t we have it?

Anyway, that’s besides the point. There may be some good news for Parks & Rec fans on the horizon.

Amy Poehler, who is both a star of the show and a Parks & Rec writer, has teased the idea of a reunion.

In a recent interview with Variety, she was asked whether or not a reunion was on the cards, to which she replied: “I am technically available. I have like six of Leslie’s blazers in my closet, so anytime.”

Granted she may just be getting our hopes up, we can’t help but feel like the woman who played Leslie Knope would never lie to us.

The guilt would be too much for her to take.

When asked what her storyline might be, she replied that maybe she could be “president of the moon”.

Never change, Amy.
