Recliners make everything better.

Anyone who sat through three hours of Batman vs Superman will know that you can sometimes feel a bit cramped in a cinema. After the first two and a half hours, even the most diehard DC fanboys will have wanted to stretch their legs!

Well, the ODEON cinema in Blanchardstown has come up with a perfect solution to this problem. They’ve installed luxury recliners in two of their screens so you can stretch out and enjoy a film in the utmost comfort. Even if the next Batman film clocks in at five hours and thirty-four seconds, you’ll be in your element in your recliner.

And there’s the added bonus of not having to scrunch up your legs every time someone in your row goes to the toilet. As if that wasn’t enough, you also get retractable tray tables for your drinks. This must be what it felt like when early man discovered fire.

Screen 9 in ODEON Blanchardstown opened this month and it features an IMAX screen to give cinema-goers the ultimate immersive experience. It will be one of the first IMAX screens in Europe to offer fully reclining seats. The second screen to offer luxury recliners is the existing curved iSense screen. The recent addition of recliners has made the viewing experience even better.

So you get cutting-edge, crystal clear visuals with the comfiest seats you can imagine. We’re in.

The addition of recliners to the two new screens have raised the bar for cinemas in Dublin and they’ve been updated just in time for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. So you can watch the biggest film of the year in the most comfortable seats possible. What more could you want?
