The 35 scariest movies you can watch at home right now

We recently celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the release of Sinister, not just because it was turning a decade old, but also because it was recently named "the scariest movie ever made (according to science)".

From that same scientific study, those organising the research whittled down the decades and decades of scary movies to a list of the 35 scariest movies ever.

They made those judgements based on how high each movie caused the viewer's BPM to rise, with Sinister coming out on top.

Now, we will admit that the list seems a bit ... odd. There are many great entries on here, but aside from having an issue with the rankings, there also appears to be some very good horror movies not on the list at all.
