Trailer: A first look at Michael Fassbender in Macbeth

He doesn't make bad films (apart from The Counsellor)

JOE

Michael Fassbender doesn’t make s**t films.

Hunger, Shame, 12 Years a Slave, Inglorious Basterds, The Counsellor….Okay, Okay The Counsellor wasn’t great. Let’s forget we ever said that.

But now our favourite Kerryman is back on the silver screen with a version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

The first trailer has landed and it really does look like a fine piece of cinema – dark, brooding and bloody – just how The Bard would have wanted it.

It looks worth the watch for the cinematography alone… never mind the Fassbender factor.

For anyone who didn’t read Macbeth at school, it’s basically the story of a warrior and inspiring leader in war-torn Scotland brought low by evil ambition and desire.

Check it out…
