Plot’s it all about?
Salazar’s Revenge is the fifth chapter of the beloved Pirates of the Caribbean franchise synonymous with Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow character. However, judging by the trailer, Depp may not play such a pronounced role in this film – seeing as he doesn’t feature in a single frame of the trailer.
Instead, the trailer focuses on Javier Bardem’s ghoulish villain Salazar, who is seen boarding a ship, slaughtering sailors and sending out a message that he’s after Captain Jack Sparrow. He and his team of undead pirates don’t seem like the type to be trifled with.
