“Who’s putting the f**ing wrappers back in the box?”
With just over a fortnight to go until the big day, you, dear reader, like most Irish people, are no doubt heartily looking forward to the festive season and spending some quality time with your nearest and dearest and letting your hair down a little before returning to routine in the New Year.
In reality, and we don’t mean to burst anyone’s bubble here, the festive season follows a familiar pattern for most Irish families with some good times mixed in with no little arguing over the quality of gifts, who gets the remote and taking biscuits from the bottom section of the box before the top one is even empty.
Just like their take on Irish weddings, the Republic of Telly lads get it fairly spot on with their take on every Christmas ever and no doubt there are plenty of themes in the clip above that will hit home now and again in about two weeks’ time.
But would we have it other way?
