Motor Cycle Stuntman Ryan Gosling is chased down by Cop Bradley Cooper in The Place beyond the Pines – a new crime drama with Eva Mendes and Ray Liotta.

Ryan Gosling proved himself in Drive so now we believe he can do anything, including play a motor-cycle stunt rider/bank robber/father.
The ‘bad’ guy in this movie is Luke (Gosling), a stunt rider trying to make some extra money to provide for his new baby and ex-girlfriend. The ‘good’ guy is Avery Cross (Bradley Cooper), a cop with political aspirations, after him.
Eva Mendes plays Gosling’s ex-girlfriend, Romina while Ray Liotta plays a cop called Deluca.
The title refers to a native American word, a city in New York state called Schenectady. The writers and director Dereck Cianfrace also directed Gosling in Blue Valentine in 2010, an indie movie about a couple whose relationship falls apart after a shot gun wedding.
The movie is set for release on April 12, 2013.
