VIDEO: The trailer for Aaron Paul’s new TV series suggests it will be worth a watch

Made by the man behind Friday Night Lights and also starring Michelle Monaghan, this sounds very promising indeed.

Aaron Paul could star in TV shows for the next 100 years without any of them ever replicating the success of Breaking Bad, but his latest project looks like it will be well worth watching.

The first official teaser trailer for The Path, a Hulu original series, was released at the weekend and explores the mysterious world of the cult-like Meyerist Movement in upstate New York.

Created by Jason Katims of Friday Night Lights and Parenthood fame, it also stars Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy (Hannibal), while Friday Night Lights fans will also recognise Minka Kelly (who played Lyla Garrity in the show).
