Castletown’s finest was on Republic of Telly last night and he was dishing out some very solid advice.

‘Sound’ is a term that is hard to define but every Irish person knows exactly what it means. In a bid to help those who may be confused, or perhaps a visiting dignitary, the Viper Higgins of Hardy Bucks fame took to our screens last night to explain it all.

Using lots of everyday examples (well, maybe not every day but now and again) the Viper talks you through the vital, and often small, difference between being ‘Sound’ and being ‘Not Sound’.

If you ask us, this should be shown in every school in Ireland before the Leaving Cert class heads off. T’would make the country a better place.
