Video: The Wolf of Wall Street gets the honest trailer treatment… and it’s just fu**ing great

We didn’t mean to swear out of turn or anything, but this fu**ing brilliant honest trailer has more fu**s than the movie itself, which is saying something.

We didn’t mean to swear out of turn or anything, but this fu**ing brilliant honest trailer has more fu**s than the movie itself, which is saying something.

Having featured any amount of them on the site in the past, we hardly feel the need to have the big up the work that the folks at Screen Junkies do when making ‘honest’ trailers of popular movies and TV shows and true to form, their most recent effort, an honest take on The Wolf of Wall Street, is as excellent as you might expect.

Leonardo di Caprio is the main focus of the good-natured jibes throughout the trailer, which takes the mick out of his long-time relationship with Martin Scorcese and the fact that, in some ways, the movie is a reflection of his real-life.

Of course, his enduring failure to win an Oscar also comes up, with the Honest Trailer folks mercilessly poking fun at it by pointing out some obscure people who have actually won the award and by re-naming him Leonardo NoOscaro. Harsh.

Jonah Hill also comes in for some treatment and it being The Wolf of Wall Street, there are also plenty of references to swearing, sex, drugs, general hedonism and plenty of welcome sightings of the lovely Margot Robbie.

Like we said, it’s just fu**ing great.
