JOE is beyond excited with new movie This is the End – a fittingly apocalyptic story with comedy actors playing themselves. The star-studded cast includes James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson.

If you are reading this the world hasn’t ended, or just not yet. Released today is the first look trailer This is the End dealing with just that problem.
There are a lot of end-of-the-world movies coming out, strangely enough in 2013, after the end of the world is supposed to happen (if the world does end, how will we see them?).
Oblivion with Tom Cruise, After Earth with Will Smith, and World War Z with Brad Pitt all show action packed dangerous drama after the Mayan-predicted world ending as we know it.
This is the End is the first comedic take on the scenario, and the first to cast actors as themselves, dealing with the fall out of a post apocalyptic world as movie stars.
In this first look trailer, Seth Rogen and James Franco introduce their movie while hiding out in Franco’s bunker. We see quick edits on how they will fill their time. The best scene has to be when they figure out how to jerk off, together, in the same room. You’ll see.
The movie trailer itself shows six friends – Franco (127 Hours), Seth Rogen (Pineapple Express), Jonah Hill (21 Jump Street), Jay Baruchel (Knocked Up), Danny McBride (East Bound & Down’s Kenny Powers) and Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine) trapped in a house after a party.
Los Angeles begins to fall apart around them and the six hole up until low supplies and cabin fever force them into the crazy world outside.
Michael Cera (Juno) and Emma Watson(Harry Potter) also drop by for a while too. Rumours have it that Rihanna, Paul Rudd and Jason Segel do cameos too.
Originally entitled The End of The World, This is the End is written by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg (Pineapple Express) and Jason Stone (Director of short Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse). These guys combined are comedy genius so expect good things.
