Jurassic World: Dominion isn’t due to arrive in Irish cinemas until June 2022.

Life… finds a way… to make us even MORE excited about getting back to the cinema!

With the arrival of Fast 9 in Irish cinemas on Thursday, 24 June, Universal have announced that IMAX screenings of the movie will also feature a special extended preview of Jurassic World: Dominion.

They described the five-minute preview as follows:

“Partially set 65 million years ago, during the Cretaceous period, the action-packed preview features dinosaurs that have never been seen in a Jurassic film – and reveals mind-blowing scenes and pulse-racing surprises.”

The third Jurassic World movie will follow the events of 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, in which (THREE-YEAR-OLD SPOILER ALERT) all of the dinosaurs have now broken free and are running wild around the world.

Dominion will see the heroes (and villains) of the World and Park movies combine, as it will feature Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum all returning to their iconic roles.

Jurassic World: Dominion is due to arrive in Irish cinemas in June 2022.

Of course, all this does is further fan the flames of speculation that there is Fast & Furious x Jurassic World crossover in the works.

Meanwhile, in case you haven’t seen it yet, this short film set in the world of Jurassic World – titled Battle At Big Rock, which was filmed in Powerscourt in Ireland – also fills in some of the blanks of what has happened between Fallen Kingdom and the upcoming Dominion.
