“He wouldn’t mess with me mate… Cos I’m vicious.”

Noel Gallagher has been on the warpath lately, openly attacking his brother Liam, as well as his ongoing verbal jousting with Lewis Capaldi, we don’t know how he has any time left over to write or perform any music.

Ahead of his interview later this weekend, a small snippet played out in which the topic of Noel VS Lewis came up, and Liam didn’t pull any punches.

BBC Radio One host Phil Taggart started the conversation by telling Liam that they gave Lewis Capaldi his first ever radio play, and since then he has ended up in a war of wards with Noel… a war that Lewis appears to be winning, which would make it a first for a Gallagher brother to lose.

“Our kid is getting beaten in a lot of arenas these days, isn’t he?” Liam asks about his own brother. “Unfortunately for him. But yeah… but listen mate, I read somewhere that he’s the new… He wouldn’t mess with me mate, this Lewis whatever he’s called.

“No, he wouldn’t. Cos I’m vicious. But zen at the same time. Do you know what I mean? I wouldn’t take no prisoners, there’d be none of that nonsense.

“But I’ve met him and he’s cool, and I’m glad he’s sticking it to our kid cos our kid started it. Do you know what I mean? So at the end of the day, you know, our kid deserves what he’s getting at the moment, man, I think.”
