Man detained at Lisbon Airport for smuggling “considerable amount of cocaine” in fake arse

Two men have been detained at Lisbon Airport after the discovery of a “considerable amount of cocaine” by a foreign citizen, who was concealing the drugs using a fake arse. Portuguese Criminal Police (Polícia Judiciária) revealed that a foreign citizen from a Latin American country was detected carrying approximately 1kg of cocaine at Lisbon Airport by the Tax and Custom Authority, drugs which were concealed in the contraption pictured below. Images via Polícia Judiciária Following an immediate investigation by the National Anti-Narcotics Trafficking Unit, a second individual, the recipient of the product, was also detained by police. A statement by police revealed that the cocaine that was seized would have been sufficient for the composition of at least five thousand individual doses if it was to be distributed illegally. Two men, aged 32 and 40, who are strongly suspected of illicit drug trafficking, were present at the first judicial interrogation and a measure of pre-trial detention was applied.
