Donald Trump responds to calls for investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against him

Carl Kinsella

Donald Trump has once again acknowledged accusations of sexual misconduct against him, decrying them as “FAKE NEWS!”

In a tweet posted today, the President of the United States wrote “Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia – so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met. FAKE NEWS!”

The tweet appears to be in response to a group of women who claim they were harassed by Trump calling on Congress to investigate their claims.

Samantha Holvey, Rachel Crooks and Jessica Leeds have accused Trump of “unwanted kissing and groping.”

Summer Zervos is among the women who has accused Donald Trump of sexual harassment. She was featured in TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year cover story “The Silence Breakers.” She is currently suing him for defamation after he originally called her testimony false.

According to the Guardian, more than 12 women have openly accused Donald Trump of sexual misbehaviour.
