The National Lottery has confirmed that Friday night's winning ticket for the EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle, worth €1,005,000, was sold in Kerry.
In a statement, the National Lottery revealed that the lucky punter purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw (21 August). It included the winning raffle number I-VBD-36131.
The retail location that sold the ticket will be announced over the coming days.
A Dublin player also won big on the night. This was after matching five numbers in the main EuroMillions draw, allowing them to take home €18,384.
Like the Kerry winner, the punter in the capital also bought their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw. They purchased it from SuperValu Sundrive, Sundrive Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12.
The numbers in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw were 10, 14, 15, 19, 45 while the Lucky Stars were 4 and 12.
National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said in a statement: "We’re urging players in Kerry to check their tickets carefully for the raffle number I-VBD-36131.
"Both winners should sign the back of their tickets, keep them safe and contact our prize claims team.”
They can call 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes at Lottery HQ.
Friday night’s EuroMillions draw featured a special Ireland Only Raffle event, with a guaranteed €1,005,000 prize for one player.
As with every EuroMillions draw, ten players win €5,000 with their unique raffle ticket number. On Friday night, one of those winners had an additional €1,000,000 added to their prize, making them the latest National Lottery millionaire of 2026.
