This is the fourth water-related death in the country in the past week.

A man has died after falling from a boat in Kerry on Sunday (17 July). The man, aged in his 50s, got into difficulty in the water in Cromane Bay in Killorglin. Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the scene at approximately 10pm on Sunday. The man was taken from the water, but was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed from the scene by ambulance to the mortuary in University Hospital Kerry, in Tralee. A file on the incident is set to be prepared by the Coroner. This incident is the fourth water-related death in the country in the past week, following deaths in Laois, Clare, and Dublin.
