Incredible footage has emerged of the moment a man was found alive in a shipwreck off the coast of Africa.
As a South African dive team were searching the submerged vessel for the bodies of deceased crew members, they happened upon the wreck's sole survivor - the ship's cook.
Out of the 12 people travelling on board, a cook named Harrison Okene was the only survivor after the Jascon 4 tug capsized on May 26, 2013, off the coast of Nigeria. Now, six months on from the accident, remarkable footage has emerged showing the moment he was rescued from an air bubble on the ship, 60 hours after the ship capsized and 30 metres below the surface of the water.
The footage, taken directly from the diver's camera, is genuinely unbelievable footage to watch and hats off to the rescue team who remain so, so calm throughout the entire ordeal.
