Decemburrrrr!

While we’re out of the Weather Warning (for now) that had been issued for the entire country earlier this week, the rest of the week doesn’t look like it is going to be a massive improvement.

Met Éireann are predicting several thundery downpours across the country over the rest of the week, kicking off on Wednesday morning and afternoon.

They will continue on into Thursday, with heavy and thundery rainfalls predicted through the day, before easing off slightly that evening, except if you live in the northeast of the country, then you should probably expect the heavy rain to remain all night long.

Friday is to start off bright and mild enough, before more heavy rain makes its way across the country that afternoon.

The weekend looks pretty much similar, with a forecast of middling temperatures (between 6 and 10 degrees) and unsettling conditions, with heavy rain and strong winds predicted, especially closer to the coasts.

That brings us up to the day before Christmas Eve, and while the full-on Christmas Day prediction has not yet been made, they aren’t expecting snow to arrive.
