Michael Schumacher’s fans have projected a heart-warming birthday message for the former F1 World Champion on the front of the Grenoble University Hospital.

Michael Schumacher continues to fight for his life today as he remains in a medically induced coma following a skiing accident in the French Alps last Sunday.

Fans of Michael, along with members from various Ferrari clubs, have gathered outside the hospital in the French city of Grenoble to hold a vigil and to project a special birthday message for the German champion.

The message reads: ’45 – Schumi Stay strong! Keep fighting!’

Fans held a minute silence outside the hospital earlier today for Michael, who remains in a stable but critical condition, according to his manager.

The support for Michael isn’t just coming from outside the doors of the Grenoble Hospital, as some fans in India have been busy creating sand sculptures of the F1 champion over the past few days.
