Scotland and Wales are also set to be safe, as Russia believes they will be independent.

A Russian TV host renowned for spreading pro-war propaganda has said that Northern Ireland would be safe from nuclear war between Russia and the UK, as it will “unite with Ireland” soon.

Vladimir Solovyov made the comments on his show on Russia-1, a state-owned television channel in the country.

“Listen Brits, wake up!,” Solovyov began.

“You showed the entire world that you are arrogant, ignorant, illiterate upstarts, who can’t do anything but steal.

“The only reason you don’t have Egyptian pyramids in the British museum is because you couldn’t physically steal them.

“You stole everything.”

Solovyov criticised British Admiral Tony Radakin, who is currently the Chief of the Defence Staff in the UK, the head of the armed forces.

“What are you admiral of? What did you achieve?,” Solovyov asked.

“And they are criticising us, the country we could destroy with one Sarmat (Satan-2) missile.”

A fellow guest went to correct him, saying that more than one missile would be required to destroy the island, which led Solovyov to clarify his comments to suggest only England would be targeted.

“One, one. We won’t touch Scotland. Scotland will be independent,” Solovyov said.

“Wales has been quiet so far. Wales, too, will be independent.

“And at Biden’s demand, Northern Ireland will unite with Ireland.”

Solovyov suggested that the United Kingdom would soon be gone, with the “Union Jack thrown away”.

Threats against the UK have been been broadcast for several months since the conflict in Ukraine began, with one broadcast showing both UK and Ireland being destroyed by a nuclear missile by television host Dimitry Kiselyov.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin heavily criticised the broadcast, which led the Russia-1 host to respond, saying that “it wasn’t nice for Ireland to become collateral damage in Britain’s clash with Russia,” and claiming that “we’re not intimidating anyone.”
