PIC: This election poster down in Cork for a fake Labour candidate is making some outrageous promises

Carl Kinsella

We don’t think he’d be able to keep these promises.

A man by the name of “Paddy O’Brien” is popping up on posters down in Cork, making some outrageous promises to beat the band.

According to the poster, if elected he’ll-

  • Overturn the smoking ban
  • Make drink cheaper
  • Remove any laws against drink-driving
  • “More hunting”

The poster signs off with his slogan “Anything I don’t know ain’t worth knowing.”

While we admire his ambition, we’re not sure these policies would actually be the best thing for the country. We’re also obliged to point out that he is definitely not running for Labour, as the poster might suggest.
