It was never going to change anything.
The local authorities in popular holiday resort Magaluf want to change the image of the town so they announced new fines for anti-social behaviour which were implement yesterday.
The new rules included a ban on drinking in the street between 10pm and 8am, limited pub crawls, a ban on selling alcohol after midnight and huge fines for urinating and going naked or topless on the strip.
