The Irish comedian Marcus Olaoire recently spent a day sitting in a cramped vending machine so he could scare people who just wanted a free snack.

Nothing comes for free, right? Even getting a snack from this ‘free treat’ vending machine came with a price. Whenever someone pressed the button for a free Square they were met with a rather touching surprise…

The vending machine was placed all around Dublin, so keep an eye out as you might spot someone you know. Speaking about the prank Marcus, who you may recognise from Republic of Telly, said: ‘All the stuff I do, and I get famous for sitting in a vending machine.’

You can find out more about Marcus and his work over on Facebook and Twitter. In the meantime, here’s some proof of the ‘man in the vending machine’ prank.
