Independent MEP candidate Ben Gilroy has released one of the most startling videos of this year's election season.
The two-minute video shows Gilroy absolutely battering several plaster walls with a hurley, while touting his credentials for office.
At the outset of the video, Gilroy says "A lot of people are asking why I carry hurley stick..." before going on to use the hurley to demolish multiple walls bearing words like 'State corruption', 'Constitution violations', 'Stealing Wealth', 'Unlawful evictions' and 'RTÉ'.
On the subject of evictions, Gilroy says: "I'm going to come back as MEP and stand with you in court making sure your rights are upheld, the way I have done without MEP office. I've even gone to jail for people doing this, and I'll do it again."
WHACK WHACK WHACK.
Gilroy was jailed for three months earlier this year over a failure to comply with a High Court order to complete 80 hours community service after he admitted criminal contempt.
