Criminal refereeing today from Jaco Peyper…
A lot of people are holding the South African ref responsible for Ireland’s one-point loss to France this afternoon, so much so that he’s starting to look an awful lot more like the evil Doug Stamper from House of Cards.
Stamper, played by actor Michael Kelly, is Frank Underwood’s ruthless assistant who isn’t afraid to get his hands very bloody in aid of his boss’ cause, and he’s killed at least once.
So while we’re disappointed with Peyper’s reffing today, we can’t exactly accuse him of being quite as bad as his Netflix doppelganger…
