The voice of Italia ’90 talks to us.
Today (June 25) marks the 25th anniversary of Ireland’s famous penalty shootout win over Romania at Italia ’90.
The key components on that historic day were Packie Bonner, David O’Leary, Daniel Timofte and incredible tension in Genoa.
There on the day to watch it all unfold was RTÉ commentator George Hamilton, he spoke to us about the shootout and the song ‘Put ‘Em Under Pressure.’
