The JOE v Ladbrokes Football Accumulator Challenge: Week 18

Blanks all round means that Hayley O'Connor of Ladbrokes remains well ahead in the JOE v Ladbrokes accumulator challenge, but we're sure things will pick up this week.

JOE

An extremely juicy weekend of Premier League action awaits. Here’s the matches that Hayley O’Connor and our good selves have put our money on.

After a week off due to the shortened slate last weekend, we’re back with a cracker of a set of games. Sunday promises to be the most super of Super Sundays while Saturday has some of the trickiest games to call we’ve seen in some time. As we get closer and closer to season’s end, we really need a big weekend to try and get back in the race with Ladbrokes’ Hayley O’Connor, so here goes.

Here’s Hayley’s picks for Week 18:

Man City to beat Hull, 1/2

I fancy City to put Barca behind them and beat an in-form Hull at the KC

Liverpool to beat Manchester United, 9/5

The Reds recent record at Old Trafford is poor but this is a very different clash to recent years. United have shown a few sparks of life in recent league games but Liverpool are the form team and should take all the points here.

Arsenal to beat Spurs, 6/4

The Tim Sherwood experiment is going a bit pear-shaped and playing on Thursday won’t have helped. I’m going for my third away win of the weekend.

Three away wins, even for big sides, adds up to a treble worth almost 11/1.

And here’s JOE’s picks:

Everton the beat Cardiff, 4/11

Unlucky to go down by four goals against Arsenal last week, Everton are surely too good for Cardiff at Goodison.

Southampton to beat Norwich, 8/13

Norwich are simply woeful on their travels so even if the Saints are already in wind-down mode, they should have enough to see off the Canaries

Aston Villa and Chelsea to draw, 3/1

Jose never saw an away draw he didn’t like and Villa are just the sort of gritty team to hold on for a dull 0-0.

That treble is worth around 9/1 too, so we can really catch up this week, if all goes to plan of course.
