VIDEO: Surfer gets absolutely demolished by this massive wave
The World Surf League has posted it's Wipeout of the Year, and it's pretty spectacular.
This took place last September in Tasmania, as Tyler Hollmer-Cross falls at the top of a 40-foot wave and then gets totally swallowed up.

"I had actually made one wave and was feeling relieved to be alive," his fellow surfer Mick Fanning told GrindTV at the time.
"Then I saw Tyler’s wipeout and all the nerves came back. It was horrific; I was just so happy to see his head pop up. I’m not sure how he survived."
